WHERE YOUR DONATION DOLLARS GO
We do things differently here at the sanctuary than most all places. We potty train, do in house grooming, provide affection and mental stimulation from a consistent staff. We provide quality nutrition and educate our staff with animal first aid, CPR, aggression management, and professional training skills. We train the dogs, and engage with them multiple times a day. We daily use cleaning supplies, hoses, buckets, dog houses, kennels, fencing, pea gravel for potty yards and runs, rags, dog beds, mops, mop heads, poop scoopers, trash bags, scrubbers, dish soap, bowls, appropriate nail clippers, shampoo and conditioner, ear cleaner, some first aide supplies when needed, vaccines, spay/neuter, flea and tick meds, microchips, heartworm preventative, tooth brushes and doggie toothpaste, appropriate bones, leashes, collars, GPS or smart tags with name tags on each collar, balls, frisbees and other enrichment toys, place cots, training tools, laundry detergent, paper towels, heartworm treatments, any dogs on daily medications, of course lots and lots of dog food, towels, etc. These items are just the ones that we have to constantly keep in stock to keep the environment sanitary and for them to live full lives. Your donations also go to training of the qualified dogs to be housed and become service dogs for veterans, or first responders that need them.
